St. Patrick's Day story

Ilaiza wrote this story in her "independant writers" part of her day.

It read for real...I tricked the leprechaun to like a fake rainbow.  I made a fake pot of gold.  I sneaked the real gold under my bed.

I thought this was pretty clever of her.

Working on blog this weekend...that's the goal. I'm seeing if I can make it easier for me to post by using my phone! This is a test.

BLACKBERRY PICKING

Yellow Tree Farm is where we found some delicious blackberries!  The buckets filled fast.  We got a few raspberries too. We froze a lot of them.  Maybe we will find some peach picking next, followed by apples...Can't wait to be in our home and make some yummy treats!

BLOGGING AGAIN!

It's been since March since I've entered and have to cover from Christmas on.  I think I may go backwards!  Maybe I'll cover our summer, then our adventures east and then the time until Christmas.  It may be confusing, but will help with the overwhelming feeling of it all!

Christmas Musical at the River Church 12/21/09

Shaylene played a twin role as a "city girl", Josh as a "city boy", Nadia as a "country girl" and Ilaiza as a "lamb" in that country.  Ryan and I even got a few second role as crazy shoppers.

The kids all worked really hard on this beginning back in August!  Everyone's efforts paid off- the show was fantastic.
