BLACKBERRY PICKING

Yellow Tree Farm is where we found some delicious blackberries!  The buckets filled fast.  We got a few raspberries too. We froze a lot of them.  Maybe we will find some peach picking next, followed by apples...Can't wait to be in our home and make some yummy treats!

BLOGGING AGAIN!

It's been since March since I've entered and have to cover from Christmas on.  I think I may go backwards!  Maybe I'll cover our summer, then our adventures east and then the time until Christmas.  It may be confusing, but will help with the overwhelming feeling of it all!

Christmas Musical at the River Church 12/21/09

Shaylene played a twin role as a "city girl", Josh as a "city boy", Nadia as a "country girl" and Ilaiza as a "lamb" in that country.  Ryan and I even got a few second role as crazy shoppers.

The kids all worked really hard on this beginning back in August!  Everyone's efforts paid off- the show was fantastic.

Josh's Fall soccer season 2009

You could really see an increased ability this season with Josh's team!

Arizona Youth Ballet Nutcracker Performance 2009

What a fun Nutcracker season this was!  Ilaiza debuted as a Baby Mouse and Gingerbread.  Nadia, after 3 years as Baby Mouse was an Angel, Soldier and Page along with helping with the Baby Mice.  Shaylene alternated being Marie with Arabian and Snow.

School Group Thanksgiving Meal

This year we gathered at Ms. Shiloh's home to create our school Thanksgiving Meal.

Ms. Suzy baked a pumpkin and we pushed it through the sieve to get some fresh pumpkin flesh.

We also had homemade cranberry sauce and fresh "churned" butter.

Ilaiza and Shaylene really concentrated on frosting yummy pumpkin cupcakes.  Ryan did some decorating.

RYAN'S 3RD BIRTHDAY! Nov 19, 2009

For Ryan's birthday we gathered at the park and made snow cones!

He enjoyed opening his cards and presents.
